I have always believed in alternative medicine. Anything that we can do to help our bodies heal naturally without taking a medication is what I totally feel works for me! There are times of course where we do need prescriptions and that of course has happened for myself and my children many times. Preventative medicine is the key for me!
What am I doing now for my health you ask? I have started eating/drinking more raw foods in the past few months. I start most days with a delicious green smoothie with all sorts of different varieties and add some fruits along with it. Of course since I am fairly new at this, some taste better than others but I drink all that I create. :) My husband and one of my children are on board with this new edition to our diet and they love them as well! I find it so easy and creative to start my day and to feel the benefits to my health as a result. I feel clarity and amazing energy soon after!
I also have started sprouting some very nutritious seeds such as alfalfa, wheat berries and sunflower seeds. There are many more that I want to try as well and that will happen soon. I also grow beautiful wheatgrass and add that to my smoothies! I will post some photos for you very soon. I recently received my first digital camera for Mother's day so now I can share photos of my adventures in this journey! Welcome to a little part of my world and hope you find some insight and ideas to help contribute to your health.
So glad to see you started a blog! I am excited for you! You need to post some photos of your morning smoothies and your sprouts! Where did you find the sunflower seeds to sprout. I was just reading recently that they are the most tasty. Happy blogging sis! :)
ReplyDeleteCan I post back to you? I am not sure on all this? I buy the whole black sunflower seeds where the bird food is sold. It is really cheap and inexpensive to sprout and grow and they are tasty!
